Poetry: Why I love you

Because your mine, to share life with
that's why I love you

Dark times to shed light with
That's why I love you

Creation of life, destruction of past pain
Inventions of new love, riding a fast train
That's why I love you

Excitement with future days,
The acceptance of my ways,
That's why I love you

A family we've created and pieced together
Tribulations and stormy weather.

That's why I love you

You feed my hunger for love with passionate embraces
Adventures together to new and different places
That's why I love you

You moved my heart after it was frozen in pain
No regrets for my losses, just joy for my gains
That's why I love you

The desire to be devoted, you stopped a heart from closing
once opened, released a flow of emotions
That's why I love you

My heart grabs yours and begins to slow dance
Chivalry is alive, you've revived my romance
That's why I love you

A place to be loyal lies with your heart
designed to seduce right from the start
That's why I love you

Your eyes trap my mind, your lips pressed with mine
What I have found, is treasure and surprise
That's why I love you

Amazing adventures, wonderful excursions,
Tests of faith, quizzed on truths
Love is me, Love is you

Can't stop and wouldn't want to, hope you feel the same.
I know you do, I know it's true, forever and always
That's why I love you

    Murmur
    Sweet words
    Mean nothing;
    Forever,
    Always
    Good pain,
    Always
    Been the same.

    I feel you
    Growin closer,
    I feel you
    Holding out.
