It may seem as if a one day stint in the historically, quaint, city of Philadelphia is just not enough time to experience all that the wonder that it holds. On the contrary, an overnight stay, coupled with a day of playing tourist may be ideal as an inexpensive trip. While there are over forty famed attractions that may put a sparkle in your eye, there may be time to have a look at each of them, even in one day! This is possible in part because the majority of the culture rich establishments that one would long to see are all within the same area. Of, course you may not get to every place on your list in less than twenty-four hours, but what fun would it be to try? A three mile journey through the history laden town will allow you to see many of the most famous attractions in the United States, with the majority of the tour being free. The best part is that you can guide yourself around town, with only a map, and a camera. There are a few 'must-sees' in Philly that should top anyone's list.

~Betsy Ross House.
What better way to pay homage to one of the greatest women in America, while at the same time visiting the house where the very first American flag was pieced together by her own hands? The house is located at 239 Arch Street, and allows a tour of the home where the flag was designed and sewn. It was rumored that Betsy could cut a perfect star out of fabric with one snip of her scissors. Inside of the house is Betsy's charming personal bedroom, as well as the room she used to do her upholstery work and her sewing. There is also a gift shop that sells Betsy Ross, and flag related items. It is located two blocks from the US Mint, and a few blocks from the Liberty Bell.

If only just casting a glimpse from the outside of this structure, it is one that you must not skip. It is magnificent, majestic and grand, even from afar. a semi-circular portico, made up of beautiful columns makes the building itself a true work of art. Many real estate sales, economic deals, and stock exchanges took place in the historic building. The address for the structure (which has a small public area inside) is 3rd Street at Walnut Street.

~Library Hall.
Located at 105 South 5th Street this was the nations first Library, and was founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1731. In my humble opinion, any library is worth walking into, let alone the very first one established in my country. Since Benjamin Franklin's every idea was crucial to things that we still use
