Paris Hilton. With a name like that, you are born dressed for success, which is good enough reason for her to not have to wear clothing. OK, so she may receive a lot of money for her jailhouse story...and why not. Is it any different to other celebrity's who receive squillions of ridiculous amounts of money for their roles on films, even if the film is really really bad?! Is it any worse than the huge squanderings of taxpayers dollars that your government fritters on its military and (ahem) security? Not to mention the politicians big Mac paypackets! And the massive chunks on advertising, which you support on a daily, nay, momentary basis, by purchasing what you see in those ads?

Really, the list could go on and on...couldn't it.

If you think Ms Hilton should not receive this money, then really you think that NBC has no right to spend their private corporate funds any way they dam well wish. How arrogant. What NBC spends their money on, is none of anyone's business, and if she want to capitalize on that, good on her! I only wish they wanted so desperately to hear about my incredibly interesting life, all the amazing things I have done, and been, and all that...if there are any NBC executives reading this...

Let's not forget, it is we, the gullible, tabloid buying, glamor addicts, who have put Paris Hilton where she is in the celebrity ratings. If we were not so fixated on her, through the media, she would just be what she really is, a skinny little rich girl, with bad behavior.
One of millions of skinny little rich girls with rotten behaviour, there is one up the street from me, and I am sure, there are many up the street from many of you. Feel sorry for her. It is pretty obvious that Paris is doomed not to be loved, or to be loving. And for that legacy, all the money in the world will not help her. So I think, she can receive as much as she wants, in an effort to feel better about her life and the world, and good on her.
Let's just hope, those of us who will watch the Jailhouse story on NBC, (not me, I can assure you..haven't got a TV) will be entertained by Paris' near misses with thuggery, and that she grossly exaggerates the whole thing to make it a little entertaining...she is, after all a commodity! Let's hope she earns her killing, by staging some good horror stories on the inside. I am certain that those of you who think she should never have been paid, will enjoy watching Paris pretend to be in trouble.
This is a very personal issue. There is hate behind anyone who thinks this little lady cannot receive money for her antics. There is hatred, and jealousy, and plain old resentment that she can do it, and they aren't.
