Old age is a powerful enemy and a thief.
Old age makes time illusory and no man escapes death.
Death is arguably the true thief, the way disease and old age eat you from the insides out,
opening another doorway, revealing new perceptions,
perhaps better than the last room of mixtures, memories
and flashes in the pan.
A flash, one moment, one instantaneous now.
A rich saga to be lived and explored forever.
But every time that old age rolls around you catch a case of amnesia,
and keep the cosmic ball rolling,
stealing time, each time and every time,
just flashes in the pan.

I went along, I didn't know, it was a game
We had children, we were blessed
I found happiness,
Where does it go
Time
There seems so much of it

Too much,
Can't wait to be older

Young and ill

Change is constant

We focus on trying to be perfect,
Forgetting,
Never remembering,
Never seeing,
