Ahead of His Time
Conceived
Growing into being
Unplanned in the heat of passion
Forced through power uncontrolled
A child ahead of his time
Will never see the world
She cries when she sees the positive sign
An unwanted pregnancy
This child ahead of his time
She calls for termination
To end her tragedy
Without a second thought to who
He was meant to be
She cares for herself denying him
The child within her womb
Then he is gone and she's alone
Feeling the empty tomb
Ahead of his time
He calls from the grave
Forgive me mommy for not being planned
I didn't mean to cause so much pain
But I was only a helpless child
To be born ahead of his time
Mommy cries for the loss of her child
Knowing it was her and not him
She begs for his forgiveness
That prevented him from being
In the midst of all her tears
She feels the love he gives
This little baby who had no voice
Now comforts his mom
Through his spirit that lives

Poetry: Ahead of his time
by Sherry Law
He came to me, ahead of his time
And I knew we faced an uphill climb.
Anything but hearty and hale,
He was tiny, wrinkled,
by Gary Maclean
Ahead of His Time
He was walking, when all
Around him they were crawling.
He was speaking when the
Others were still bawling.
He
He was a man ahead of his time
A spirit untamed
A heart run wild
I met him as a child
Loved him as a woman
Bore his sons
And
by DL McCulloch
He spun tales to me,
a child at his knee.
Sitting rapt with awe,
I would see what he saw;
the world so large before me,
as his
Ahead of His Time
Conceived
Growin g into being
Unplanned in the heat of passion
Forced through power uncontrolled
A child ahead
