Snapshots are taken,
they hold a moment still,
even if the memories are gone,
still hold them they will.
They can be happy,
some prove to be sad,
But no matter the mood,
they bring a remembrance to mind,
one that you can keep,
in a frame on the dresser,
or in that wallet of yours,
wherever it is,
it a frame in time stores.
These are handy little things,
that let you look over,
Those moments in time,
You wish had no end.
Sometimes it's because,
the people in them disappear,
Sometimes it's because,
the Memories fade with age,
Sometimes it's because,
you just want to look the moment over,
And over and over again.
Whatever the reason,
Snapshots are there to stay,
As long as you keep them,
From wasting away.
