My Last Three Wishes
I wish that I believed in wishes,
That they really do come true,
But none of the wishes I have wished,
Have ever once come true.
I wish I believed in fairy tales
That endings are always glad,
But all my fairy tales I thought were so,
They've all finished sad.
I wish I could only believe you,
Every single thing you say,
But every time I've trusted you,
You took my heart, and ran away.
These are my three final wishes,
The last ones I'll ever make,
Until someone can prove to me
Wishes and fairy tales aren't fake.
