The weatherman called for sun, and warmth.
Mother nature agreed.
It was the perfect day
for picnic and play.
We stopped by, and grabbed some fried chicken,
A few drinks, and a few napkins.
A ball or two.
Frisbees, and the kite.
Our stomachs were hungry,
And our feet were ready to play.
We had a wonderful time that day.
A picnic memory filled with fun.
