I Though, I Said
I thought I didn't like you,
But lately I"ve been proven wrong.
I said I couldn't stand you,
But I dream of you all day long.
I thought you were a bit strange,
But nothing's strange about you,
I said you weren't the guy for me,
Forgive me, these feelings are new.
I thought I caught your eye
At church the other day,
I said I know we're just friends,
But I wish it weren't that way.
I thought, last night at bedtime,
I slept and dreampt of you.
I said it was just a dream,
But I said something I never knew.
I thought,
I felt it too,
I said,
"I love you."

My hands are
