How to remove spyware, malware or adware

The removal of computer pests can be a daunting experience, even if one is a seasoned professional. Today's pesky programs have advanced to attempt to lure those foolish enough to acquire them. These annoying critters can challenge anyone. The main goal of those who write these programs is to attempt to seize your computer. They also want to get their wares on as many systems as they can. He or she with the most goals wins!

Quite simply, these bugs are a nuisance! They are a nuisance and they are bugs, but they are also programs. The real problem is one's lack of understanding and self-defense. One must first understand how these annoying critters get into our systems in the first place.

We do not protect our systems! We invite them in! We welcome them in with open arms! We do not notice when they ask for permission to enter our systems! We say YES when we should say NO! We say NO when we should say YES!

The real point is we allowed them in. Now we want them out! How do we get rid of them? This is where the fun begins. The real question becomes, how much do you really want to know about computers?

There are always at least two ways to skin a cat if not a few hundred. These cats are hunters and predators. Once they are on your system, they won't want to get off that easily. There are two reasonable choices if you do not wish to understand too much about these machines:

1) Purchase removal software that will do the job for you.

2) Hire someone that knows what they are doing.

Either choice has pluses and minuses. Not all software will do an adequate job and some "experts" may not do as good a job as removal software. If you do your research, you will find good software or a good person that knows what they are doing. Anything you install on your computer can be removed. These pests are installed! Unfortunately, it may not be that easy.

Most good technicians will use software to remove these pests from a compromised system. Manual extraction that requires discovery, should only be completed by someone that knows what they are doing. "A system can be rendered nonfunctional with incorrect removal choices." The choice is yours. It is always good to know someone that actually knows what they are doing. They can often assist you with prevention as well as removal.

Removal of these devils in sheep's clothing depends on how much control they have established on your system. Some systems can be so heavily infected, that it may be faster to restore the system from factory recovery
