or complete like an oil,
the burning sun fails to come through.
Dots and strokes of a meadow green,
falling lines and a trace of blue.
Gallery strokes,
vying for symmetry...
like scattered grains of sand.
Marshes, yellow, green, bland,
searching the eye's demand.
Golden proportions, fully aware,
gentle on closer inspection.
To blankly sway the image from mind,
save gracious a further reflection.
