Ant hills and sugar trails
Feisty puppies, wagging tails
Lemonade sold at a stand
Castles built in the sand
Popsicles turning tongues blue
Finger paints, Elmer's glue
Peanut butter and strawberry jam
All made me what I am
The child I was I am today
Close my eyes, time steals away
To ant hills and sugar trails
Sugar and spice, puppy dog tails
Counting clouds in the sky
Forever in youth, never to die.
