I've always dreamed of having breakfast in bed, wouldn't it be nice to have a nice plate of food brought straight to you in the mourning? Well my dream came true at the Maricopa Manor Bed & Breakfast in Phoenix, with the dreamy host and the delicious food my heart was swept away by the entire visit.
This seven room Spanish style manor is a beautiful rest stop, the home was built in 1928 and the current owners have added modern amenities to make this a desirable vacation spot. Upon arriving to the palm tree arced home, my hose Jeff took my bags for me. Jeff who is British was very personable and did I mention cute? Yes!
He immediately took my breakfast order; I wasn't the only one here. There was a cute Spanish couple looking to get the room next to me, the daily rate per room is one hundred twenty seven dollars, which isn't bad considering how beautiful it is at Maricopa. The bedroom dcor is elegant; each room comes with a reasonable sized television and telephone.
I watched my favorite will & grace episodes thanks to the DVD player they provided me with.
The food at Maricopa was delicious, I had the bacon and eggs with toast and I was very impressed. Jeff was a talented chef who took great care in providing me with my meal. What I really fell in love with was the jetted tub, oh my god it felt like heaven.
Maricopa even provided me with a cute looking white bathrobe and flip flops, I though that all of this for one hundred twenty seven dollars was quite the bargain.
I enjoyed walking around the courtyard in the early mourning; it was romantic to say the least. The cool phoenix air blowing across my sun kissed skin; I absolutely love waking up at the Maricopa inn. This is one of the few places that I wouldn't mind renting a room monthly, with the wonderful host and specialty features I felt like a princess.
So next time you are in phoenix, visit the Maricopa Manor Bed & Breakfast. This was a dream come true for me and I look forward to visiting Maricopa again soon. I recommend this place to a couple or a single person looking for some valuable (ME) time.
