One summer day in 2003
Just like yesterday a memory
A young man died before his time
By crossing a car over the yellow line
It happened so fast without a clue
Tore up the hearts of those he knew
A day no one will ever forget
So much of life to live yet
He had so much time left on this earth
To learn, to laugh, more life to search
It happened so fast, like that hes gone
You wish so much, life could go on
Years later thoughts still come across you
We all cherish your life we knew
A part of the past, so much regret
One day we all will never forget
Who would have seen you in heaven so soon
Of loved ones missed you, your heart they crooned
Why God took you ahead of your time
Just before your life was prime
In all this tragedy, a lesson learned
How life can be gone, with one wrong turn
So be careful watch those yellow lines
And those lifes ended at wrong times

Poetry: Ahead of his time
by Sherry Law
He came to me, ahead of his time
And I knew we faced an uphill climb.
Anything but hearty and hale,
He was tiny, wrinkled,
by Gary Maclean
Ahead of His Time
He was walking, when all
Around him they were crawling.
He was speaking when the
Others were still bawling.
He
He was a man ahead of his time
A spirit untamed
A heart run wild
I met him as a child
Loved him as a woman
Bore his sons
And
by DL McCulloch
He spun tales to me,
a child at his knee.
Sitting rapt with awe,
I would see what he saw;
the world so large before me,
as his
Ahead of His Time
Conceived
Growin g into being
Unplanned in the heat of passion
Forced through power uncontrolled
A child ahead
