The Caribbean is a wonderful place to go on honeymoon. You can choose from islands with different heritage, including English, French, Spanish and Dutch. With all of them you get beautiful beaches and warm sunshine. There are quiet islands and lively islands, depending on your taste - and you can enjoy a range of cultural experiences and visit a wide variety of attractions, some dating from colonial times; others very modern. For example, did you know that Barbados has the third oldest Parliament in the world?
We went to Carriacou for our honeymoon. This is a sleepy little island that is a part of Grenada. While there we were able to take boat trips to islands in the Grenadines and stay on our own private island for the day. There wasn't that much to see, but it was a great spot for relaxation, and I'd happily go again.
