Why is it hard for a man to understand a woman?

by ShareTheSecret

There is one question that is always asked, but never fully explained. That question is: Why do men have such a problem understanding women? Well, I believe that there are a few different reasons. The problem is held in a tug o' war between the sexes, who are both preventing the issue from coming to an "understanding". Please, let me explain. Oh, and I'll try to keep it simple enough for the men to understand.

For men, their brain tries to keep everything very simple. They don't need (or want) any of the details. They just need (or want) a yes or no answer. I think most men would agree that a simple "good or bad", "pretty or ugly", "black or white" kind of explanation for things is all they need. It's a "cut to the chase" and "skip the warm up" kind of attitude. This simple mindedness is only fed by today's society; high technology, where everything is moving faster, and it's easier to obtain what ever it is that you want. You no longer have to hunt for the foodyou can drive up and have it handed to you through your window. Who needs the details of how it got there?!

For women, the brain loves to dive into the details. Women want to know how things work, why they work they way they do, and how something is going to benefit them. This "need for details" actually pushes women to learn more about the world and how it works. Women also know that when you keep a secret, you have the power. Men, I'll let you in on the secret. (Sorry girls!) Women know that if they let the men "think" that the men are superior or smarter, the world runs much smoother. Men don't need to know that women are actually running the show. And women are OK with letting them "think" that they are! If women were to explain this whole concept to the men (which would be difficult because men do not like DETAILS), the world would be forever changed.

So, there you have it. Because men are simple minded, women are able to hide the fact that they have the true power simply by allowing men to think that it's a man's world out there. Whew! Any questions? I could go into more detail, but I fear I'd lose the interest of the men.
