Network marketing is a great way for the average person to become wealthy, but in order to have long-term success in this business, a person can not stay average.
Statistics show that only 3-5% of people who join a Network Marketing business have any real success but 95% of those who stick with it become wealthy beyond their wildest dreams!
While the chances for success in network marketing seem to be slim, if you understand what obstacles you will run into and how to overcome them, you have a good chance of achieving success in network marketing.
You will have to change the way you think, the way you spend your time, and perhaps the people you spend most of your free time with. Here are some things you will need in order to succeed in network marketing:
1. You need to believe in your company- you need to know that your company is reputable, financially sound and that they have a good system in place to help their affiliates succeed.
2. You also need to believe in the products or services you are selling. The company needs to have products or services that you like and that you can market to your family and friends.
3.You need to have a strong desire to succeed. Write down what your life would be like if you had the unlimited finances that success in your business would bring. Read this list every day. Visualize yourself living this dream. Make it as real to your mind as you possibly can.
4. You need to be determined not to quit. Realize that if you are totally new to network marketing, it is going to take some time to grow your business. Make the decision that unless the company goes under, you will not quit.
5. You need to keep learning. Ask your sponsors for help, read good motivational and generic network marketing books, and study your company's training materials.
6. You need to believe that you are capable of doing what it takes to succeed. The more you learn about your company and how network marketing works, the more confidence you'll have in yourself to take the steps necessary for success.
7. You need a duplicable plan that you can give to your down line. Find out what works and make sure your down line can easily duplicate it.
Is network marketing always easy? No, it is not. Is it doable? Yes! Should it be fun? Absolutely. Most people give up before they even get started. This does not need to be you. Find a good company to get involved with and get started.
