I wait for your arrival
twice every month.
I long for you
more than the merits and rewards.
Each day I count
'til I meet the morning sun
that will bring me to your glory.
I am frustrated of how little I get,
but at the same time thankful
...that at least you have something to offer.
I'll survive for a couple of weeks
because I need to.
And as I struggle to do so,
I shall work with much anticipation
of your arrival.
Please don't be delayed
or else...
I shall not eat.

Bought from the corner store
A trip around the board
Of a game called Life
