Why do we long for that perception of childhood thinking that having that outlook will solve everything? Looking naively at the world with wide eyed wonder; certainly if I look that way my Soul Mate will walk right up to me? Come on, I look cute enough right? No, I just look like I've had too much caffeine.

Looking, pining, waiting, and seeking astrology for that soul mate; are we trying to embrace everything we possibly can, our jaw set in a firm mental mantra I WILL find my soul mate!' that we are filling up your arms so high we can not see we are missing a soul mate every day? Put the books and charms and candles away and look at yourself in the mirror. Look right at your heart. What's in there? What is this soul mate' that you are pining for? There have been many demands put on the role of a soul mate, poor thing. Must be able to listen and understand me, must be patient, adventurous, passionate, tell me gently when I am wrong, laugh when I need cheering up, cry with me, cuddle me when I don't want to be but I really do because my soul mate will know that, walk
