Poetry: Mannequins

by Sherrie Porter

Created on: April 17, 2008

Perfect skin
Perfect hair
You always make me stop and stare
What a lovely figure
How do you stay thin
What's your secret
Won't you share
Love your new outfit
Hope it's not expensive
Next week you'll have a new one
I can hardly wait
You've got it made
No one to answer to
No bills to pay
No kids or a husband
What a way to live
Oh, I forgot, you're not real
Just a lonely, ole mannequin
See you next trip
