With love on Mother's Day
I have your picture on my wall
I see you every day
Suddenly your here with me
And not so far away.
I'd tell you that I love you
But you know that that is true
I'm going to tell you something else
Of all the things you do.
You always teach me to stand tall
And stand on my two feet
And hold my hand and help me
With life's problems that I meet.
I look to you for guidance
In decisions which I make
When two roads lead to somewhere
Which one would Mum take?
I wouldn't be where I am today
If it wasn't thanks to you
'Cause all the problems which I've faced
You've always pulled me through.
Your strength, it is inside me
In the chances that I take
And I'm happy that your proud of me
In the choices which I make.
I love you like no other
'Cause your my Mum you see
Also, your my greatest friend
Who means the world to me.
Each night before I go to sleep
I thank the Lord above
For blessing me with such a Mum
Who's filled with so much love.
I have your picture on my wall
I see you every day
And today I shed a happy tear
To our love - on Mother's Day.

What is a mother?
Well, some might say she is a caregiver, a protector
Yet, that does not encompass all
You could say she's
THE BEACON
You've been in my life
Like a beacon of light
Where to turn for direction
In the dark of night

Mother, a reflection of her soul.
Standing tall even though the world towers above her.
Beautiful creature, wonderful sister
A
Sunlight on brown hair
the beauty of her stare
the way she would just sit with me
how wonderful her laughter of glee
I love
