By being punctual not just at work but practically in life will command the respects of your colleagues, peers, friends and foes alike. It illustrates and shows that you are dependable, truthful, honest, trustworthy and responsible when come into time management.
Punctuality is the simplest method in judging one's behavior or character. At workplace, time is of essences. Business dealing which leads to make or break sometimes suffered because of disrespect to time. As the saying goes, time is money.
A method on how employer keeps an eye on employee is through punctuality of its employees in office attendance. This applies towards everyone in the organizations. If an employee, has a reputation of being habitual late comers, tardy and slackers it either directly or indirectly will have an effect on him. It shows that he has a poor time management although he is an excellence worker. Employer will not hesitate to terminate his contract as results of his folly. No questions asked. Resources and costs will be saved to someone who is just not only hardworking and efficient, but most importantly values time who is more than willing to his place in the organizations out there if the job is advertised.
By punctual, it directly will reflect and tells everyone in the organizations that this employee is dependable and reliable. He is saying that I will not let you down and you can count on me come hell over matter. Any given job, task and assignments will be done promptly and in an efficient manner. Peers and colleagues will gain his respect and are more than happy to have any co-operations with him.
For manager, it will tell that the staff is hardworking, diligent. Maybe at the end of the year are due for a pay rise and promotions. Added responsibilities and authority will be given to the staff as the trust shown as a result of being punctual to work. This is a sign of recognitions and gratitude that management showed to staff that being punctual has its rewards.
As I end my piece, an English saying once said "Honesty is the best policy". In being punctual, you will be known as person of integrity and being honest. This are two most importance ingredient if you want to succeed that money can't buy. Once you are labeled as being unpunctual, friends and peers will shy away from you. What more, to an organization. You will feel good about yourself.
