Poetry: Mistaken identity

by Kimberly Bauer

Created on: April 17, 2008

That person in the mirror

Just simply isn't me

I have hopes

And I have dreams

I'm more than she seems to be

Why is she always in there

I do not know her face

It looks as though she's crying

She should just leave this place

That person in the mirror

She simply isn't me

I do not know that person

She's a mistaken identity
