The Word spoken forth,
forming the heavens and earth,
clothed in human flesh
speaks the good news that true life
way is Jesus, God's first born.
(This poem is written in a Japanese form called tanka. Tanka poetry is written with a syllable structure of 5-7-5-7-7.)
