US elections 2008: Decoding Obama's appeal

Here is my current theory, prone to change daily. I wonder if Michelle Obama doesn't wear the pants in the family. This could explain a lot. I think she is more militant of the two, and is his confidant and political mentor. What is unique, is that in this particular situation, Clinton's spouse, the infernal Bill person, is the dominant player on Hill's team. God forbid should Michelle and Bill lock horns. All I ask is to be a fly on the wall. This is where the "dream team" scenario is highly flawed.

I think Michelle puts her husband up to things. He is basically a malleable soul who is anxious to please. He is charming, I don't find him attractive (too skinny) but then, who cares about that? He is nowhere, and spent his intellectual "off" time bounding from one political group to another while in college. What he needed was a good woman to show him the way, and he sure got one.

I have no clue what will happen in Pennsylvania. I am deeply religious, and didn't appreciate the suggestion that I am so because I'm a frustrated, average minded, middle class American, and not because of my own decision. But I understand some Liberals consider being religious being brain-washed, as opposed to being "free", and being dictated to by the current fashion in relativism.

I believe spouses should be sexually loyal, so I don't like the Hill putting up with the Bill.
Isn't she condoning his lack of respect for women in general, and his marriage in particular?
Back to decoding Obama's appeal. I didn't know he had any that isn't clearly imaginary. We all want a fantasy,...but to think he can wave his special Obama-Wand, and magically subterfuge our social and economic ailments is foolishness. He is no more divine than I am, and once he gets into office, and our hyper-critical, elitist media gets their teeth into him, he'll have nowhere to run. To Michelle? Maybe.

His appeal is that of a teenager. I'm not suggesting I want McCain, because in fact I don't, but I am struck with this Emperor Obama, with no clothes. What's that saying in Texas, big hat, no cattle? I am not swayed by television personalities offering their political wisdom.
I do not want Streisand to be President, and I do not want Bush to sing in public. We all have our strengths. I don't comprehend what the big deal is, reality will set in and run its course.
