Poetry: Too pretty for words

by Ryan Hart

Created on: April 17, 2008

Too pretty for words,
yet still words I write.
Too far away from these arms,
to be holding you tight.

Too much love in my heart,
for me to keep it inside.
Too much trust between us,
so it is in you I confide.

Too many dreams I have had,
not to live them with you.
Too many times I can't help,
but be amazed by all you do.

Too many times we say hello,
because we must say goodbye.
Too many times I must miss you,
no matter how I might try.

For all the "too manys"
surely one doesn't apply.
I can't thank God too many times,
for leading you to this guy.
