A Delicate Balance of the Flavors of Love!

Loving - The savory gratifications of being in love; its ecstasy matched like the blend of seasonings, taste and smell sensations. . .a richness of love at times flavorless.

The touch of love is "magic" to the heart and can last a lifetime. Lost if peppered with the destructive influences from a world of carnal pleasure, infidelity, lack of trust and the immaturity of unresolved baggage from the past.

The imperfection of Love's alarms deep within the heart like a mix-master, whips up all kinds of concoctions, some good - some just right - some bad. Always mixing when two people instinctively with every move work to salt their efforts preserving found love, lifting one another to a better day. Standing side by side through the spoils and stench of unfair times. . .never letting go of that deep pulsating excitement deep inside the heart. The beat of love.

If love changes like the failing of a fine wine into the flavor of puckering vinegar, trust in your heart, don't throw it away! Reach out. Don't let your foolish pride pulverize what once was a burning desire and love. There is always a way - love can move the pain of mountains lifting each other up back to the open doorway of love.

Look, see the pain, the crying heart that goes on and on where once was found a safety haven and sweetness, like the aroma of vanilla floating about. Memories: days and sensual nights, like Celine Dion's songs: "The first time ever I saw your face . . . when you touch me like this, when you hold me like that . . . I felt the earth move in my head . . . it was not long ago, but is all coming back to me now. - I love you so."

Lost sweetness, like the aroma of a rotten apple, may be the immature love of youth, lacking the experience of real love and the qualities of endurance. Putting up with each other, doing all one can, freely giving. For it is in that giving, of what each other needs from the other where the blessings of love and joy, explode into something that didn't exist, like water changed into the sweet drink of lemonade that quenches the thirst.

Cast out the fears and doubt of love with spiritual faith, with communication, with a crushed smile and efforts of a breaking heart. Open the lids of the jars of God's seasoning, the natural fruit flavors of life, throw out the garbage bags of refuse from the soul - from the mind.

Have you any wonderment of love? It is the hardest thing to find; to hold onto. It is like searching for the most precious pearl; perfection if it even exists. It is not the fantasy of Hollywood or dreams of the home with the white picket fence.

It is two people facing the realities of every day living, sharing, giving, and receiving the benefits of a union like the right blend of seasonings of a true Caesar's Salad, where the flavors mesh into one, as it should be. Where there is no distinction, and its flavor satisfies the pallet with a smooth succulent aroma and taste, leaving the desire for more.

So it should be with a love spoken and unspoken lying in await to burst forth another day. . . to touch hand-in-hand in strength and walk the path that fate has in store, an unpredictable destiny changeable only by a willingness to believe in each other against all odds.

I love, because God first loved me, and because you my love of age. . .have bathed me in a circle of love, not unlike the Indian Circle of Life, never ending. Never allowing it to be broken despite the trips to "hell and back" if it exists. - Yes, it just may be those flavors do peak the joy of love in all of us. . . .
