Poetry: Mourning

by Sherry Singson

Created on: April 16, 2008

Of Birds and Kites

happy and free
the wind holds me
buoyant

arms spread wide,
carry me up high
floating

let me feel
your tight embrace
one last time-

let me be
of birds and kites
just for the moment.
