Living Abundantly in the Present, Dismissing the Past
Past, present, and future are part of a person's way of life.
Understandably, these time elements do not cross on the same path as these episodes of one's life happen on a different point in time.
The past life of a person cannot be erased. It has already created an indelible mark in one's history. A person pursuing to dismiss his/her past life may have different reasons such as :
1. Unlawful past : He or she at a young life may have committed an act not in accordance with the law. This has resulted to have a criminal record tucked in his/her sleeves, so to speak.
2. Appalling experience while in a relationship with someone: For his/her past years, the relationship had been on rough edges. But for one reason or another the breaking up or separation was difficult to be initiated.
3. Extreme Poverty : Being associated to be once living dirt poor was seemingly unacceptable for this person who at present has been transformed to a different personality.
To live abundantly at present time, this person may be superficially happy and enjoying amassed wealth. But once left alone, the truth creeps to one's self, to one's thought. It is scary and fearful.
So how does one deal with this kind of past life without sacrificing the happiness and abundance at present ?
The answer is simple. The affected person on his/her present life should :
1. Deal with the past head-on
2. Be truthful about it
3. Be sincerely remorseful and
4. Accept it as a learning experience.
By doing so, a sense of relief will be felt as if a chain from one's ankle has been cut. A feeling of freedom is in the offing. The truth has set one free.
Finally, there is also an insight as to who his/her real friends are after this revelation. These genuine friends should, therefore, be kept in present life as they will stand by this person even in future time.
