Bring it On
At the end of the day,
After all is said and done.
It doesn't matter what was said,
We must forget it and move on.
Whether words were spoken in hate,
Or if they were spoken in love.
We must live in today,
Because the past has come and gone.
For no matter where you go,
And no matter where you are.
Life is what you make it,
And you can try to prove me wrong.
So live each day to the full,
And don't let the bad times get you down.
There will be some who pick you up,
And there will be some who let you fall.
So choose your friends with care,
And with the utmost wisdom.
And take your life in your hands,
And say, "Ready or not, here I come."

Poetry: Living fully
by John Wiseley
When I'm a Man
When I'm a man I used to say
I'll still have fun and rule the day
I won't be coarse and spread dismay
Or worry
THE KEY TO ENJOYING LIFE
I want to rely on myself-
Nobody else.
Pick myself up when I fall.
Not count on others
To be my father
I want to quit my job today
And leave this place behind
I want to walk forbidden streets
In the shadows of my mind
I want to
How many days have passed you by
While you frittered away precious time?
Seize life and death you'll defy.
You've sat on the
Drink in the warmth of life
Have fun and never fear
As long as love is in the world
The future's bright and clear
But stray
