The growing power of women in politics

The Growing Power Of Women in Politics

Universally, the growing power of women in politics is no longer uncommon. Most of the countries in every continent of the world have majority number of women as political leaders.

This is a welcome development for women who, in the past and according to history, were only relegated to mother roles and who could not even practice the freedom of suffrage.

It is now 360 degrees turnaround.

In politics, there is now a genuine gender partnership, an equal one between male and female politicians. Both of them conduct their activities or affairs of the society, equally, mutually, and complementarily.

The arrival of women political leaders on the affairs of the state strengthens the meaning of democracy. Sharing political responsibilities with male counterparts closes the gap of resolving the obstacles in the government.

Having women political leaders can likewise promote awareness among women who are not actively involved in politics outside the comforts of their home.

The existence of these female leaders would provide understanding on women's capability on political governance.

With the presence of these female politicians in the Congress, or in an appropriate House, the law is, thus, carefully worded and carried out with the proper choice of language to avoid discrimination.

Furthermore, the power of women as politicians will come to mind as a fresh balance between practical experiences and academic skills. This will sustain development by involvement.
