One night while out in the mountains of Upstate New York I had a dream. This dream was like no other in that it had spiritual dimensions that would remain in memory for a very long time. The setting I lived in was that of a commune within the fundamentalist religion. This lifestyle had taken its toll on me as I discovered a dream unlike any other. My subconscious was starting to become affected and the dream that follows will only reflect this brain activity.
I laid in bed and awoke from my dream about four o'clock in the morning with sweat beading my forehead. The vision of a winged shadow flew across my darkened room and I discovered the quaint feeling I was not alone. Who was in the room with me I thought to myself? This winged creature had only appeared after the dream had ended. The dream itself must have given birth to the winged creature as it drifted over my head about one foot and cleared out the window. Was this a trick with my eyes? Was I seeing things? I can only speculate as to what I envisioned that night. As for now I'll return to the dream.
The dream started off as many others did, in a strange place that I had never visited nor would care to after the dream had taken place. It was a hallway, dimly lit with two connecting rooms that opposed each other. The floor was wooden and creaked as I walked around investigating the other two rooms. The first room was the only one that I visited. As I walked through the seemingly large doorway I saw my father and a grotesque figure that resembled a worm or caterpillar speckled with hair. This creature was attacking my father and putting him in chains as if he were a prisoner heading for the gallows. My father was led away down the darkened hallway and out of sight.
Due to the religious environment I resided in gave way to the thoughts that this worm creature was Satan himself, leading away my father into spiritual despair.
The next part of the dream involves my brother. As the worm returned into the room I saw my brother being handcuffed just the same as my father. This time I was equipped with a very sharp pencil and proceeded to protect my brother by killing the worm. My brother was set free and the dream came to a close.
This dream gave birth to the winged creature which I interpreted as one of Satan's demons. This is the scariest dream I have ever experienced......................................
