This topic is really interesting, and demands not only a theoretical argument but an emotional one based upon the expectations of what we ourselves view the ideal doctrine and set of beliefs as normal people, and would expect from our local church government. In America more than anywhere in the world is our close association between how we church and State. Churches have become the political stalwart propping up the candidates that best serves the country and the church according to biblical principles that express the values of decency and acceptance and economic prosperity.
However, those boundaries have now expanded and are reaching into the heart of our foreign policy and into world wide politics that is now putting pressure on our government to work out the very issues of our interests especially in the Middle East based upon the prophesies and teachings upon the Bible.
John Hagee has a 20 000 member church in St Antonio, Texas where he up until now used to lead his congregation in a very soft and comfortable Christian service on a couple of Sunday services that would give you and me the feeling that despite our sins of the week that God will always forgive, but of recent times his message has become more focused on the protection and bringing to attention the American people, not just his own church, but the US as a whole to the horror that has the potential to lead the world into World War 3, and to the strong possibility of Iran annihilating Israel.
As an outsider watching in on the political warfare between church doctrine and the governments foreign policy behavior in Iraq and in the Middle East if peoples ideals about John hagee are so emotionally charged about him one has to wonder why John Hagee would want to steer his church doctrine into one of vehemently defending and supporting the state of Israel. So is his doctrine one of convenience and money sniffing, or is it one of personal conviction, and why does it command 20 000 people to follow the Israel doctrine. We need to explore and look at John Hagees divine focus and make up in our minds whether his message is right and not misguided.
First and foremost we have to understand that John Hagees message and focus is one of the Gospel according the Bible. The Bible itself was written by Jewish scholars and Jewish writers that make up the books of the Bible. The Bible itself is made up of a chronological order of time and Prophesies, and writings of Jesus. The Bible has had already 300 prophesies fulfilled.
