I hope you fall in love again and give your heart away,
I hope she is your everything, hope she makes it all okay.
I hope she smiles when you're happy and holds you when you're sad,
I hope she gives the warmest hug and the best kiss you ever had.
Then one day out of the blue, I hope she makes you feel like dirt,
I hope she ruins you.
I hope you feel so worthless and lonesome you could die,
and I hope you taste the grains of salt in every teardrop that you cry.
I hope you can't look in the mirror and hate what you've become,
I hope you can't stop loving her in spite of what she's done.
I hope you are her prisoner locked tightly in her jail,
I hope you try to win her back and repeatedly fail.
When you tell her that you need her and struggle to find the words,
I hope she does'nt give a damn that you miss her and it hurts.
I hope she has you blinded, I hope that you can't see,
I hope she does everything someday that right now you're doing to me.
