Pushing, shoving
Fighting, crashing
Pulling, scratching
Biting, smashing.
Entering that dark abyss
You throw me down
The light, I miss.
Falling, drowning
I fight for air
Losing, searching
My soul is bare.
Two hands visible
One reaches out
Mine stretches to touch it
Yours lashes out.
One is my end
The other to save me
One to push me down
The other set me free.
The bitter struggle's ending
For my life, my heart, my soul
I grasp the hand to save me
