Inside my purse
You won't
Find much.
It only contains
A few essentials.
I keep
My purse
Clean and
Organized-
To feel in
Control
Of my life,
It merely holds
A few essentials,
So few,
I can list them
From memory:
A set of
Keys, to
Let myself in
My house;
A hairbrush,
To smooth
My tangles;
A packet of
Rubber bands,
For my braces;
A container
Of chapstick,
For parched lips;
A couple of
Dollar bills,
For spending money.
No other
Unnessasary items
Remain.
Inside my purse,
There are only
A few things.
I keep it neat
And organized.

I fight off those that try to touch.
Important things hidden inside,
