Traveling along the life journey
Through the twists, the bends
Grasping a hold as it yanks you down
Then back up, it never ends
You can plan
You can contemplate
You can control
You can manipulate
But no matter, the journey goes on
Obstacles arise
Goodbyes are spoken in farewells
And perhaps, if lucky, opportunities knock
You can't plan
You can't contemplate
You can't control
And you can't manipulate
With faith in your heart
A twinkle in the eye
A laugh in the throat
And a wisdom in your soul
Enjoy the journey
Let the hair out
Feel the wind, feel the high and low
And stop planning
