i am my father's daughter
i know freedom's never free
there's always a price to pay
they die for God and country
i am an American
the product of a melting pot
my ethnicity's unknown
Bbut my loyalty can't be bought
i am a strong woman
i can make it on my own
that doesn't mean I want to
spend my life alone.
i am a christian
in God I always trust
but often times the church
fills me with disgust
i am not alone
there are others like me here
above all else,
we don't want to disappear
