Poetry: Limits

by Kayode Agbedejobi

Created on: April 15, 2008

when i'm not bound with chains
i know i have no limits
when my legs are still strong
i'm confident i have no limits

my lips are not sealed
who can withhold my limits
my eyes are not blind
who can stop me from action

i have the power to perform
i have the skill to take charge
my mind is strong with ambition
who can curtail my limits

the sky they say is their limits
as for me
it's my stepping stone
the galaxy abounds my limits beyond
