I look through the old photo album.
There are snapshots of the whole family.
Snapshots of old ones, and young ones.
Snapshots of weddings, graduations, birthdays,
Celebrations.
The snapshots I like the most
are of those no longer with us.
I look into their eyes.
I listen to the story they are telling.
I listen with my heart.
I cherish the memories.
I feel the love.
I gently hold the snapshots,
the only reminders of who we are.
I cherish these the most,
the snapshots of those no longer with us.
