All of a sudden it all hit me. The view was breathtaking; i had never imagined the world in this way. It felt like a dream to me and that if my fingertips softly moped across the air that i would be breaking into another world and out of my dream. I had never seen the stars so bright and the moon so beautiful. A spectrum of colors was shining off of them and reflecting in my eyes just like how when a ray of sun has found a crystal. The fire light was burning purple and i was transfixed by it's beauty and thats when i realized that I have overlooked alot of beauty my whole life for i stared at that hazing fire endlessly. As i watched it lick upwards toward the diamond colored sky i started thinking and what my mind wandered over was if everything was made out of atoms or if it was all the creation of one man. The trees appeared silver to me and i realized that no artist no matter how magnificent could have created these complex pieces. Each leave stood still as if suspended in time and they glowed silver at me. I followed the winding stump sloping down to the velvet green grass. I went down to touch it and it dawned on me that this grass was growing and reaching up towards me. It was as if i was seeing nature for the first time, and that i had missed so much. I started wondering what else i wasn't seeing and wishing i could see everything. Everything looked two dimensional to me and i spent twelve hours just being a part of nature. Every angle of every plant astonished me not only by its beauty but also its complexity. We tend to overlook beauty as human beings and get caught up in what has to be done. I felt so wholesome and close to my soul when i was under the stars. The simplest things of watching the fire and the stars was the most beautifu time in my life. It was as if time stood still taking my breath along with it. I think that everyone is too busy doing things that they feel need to be done; but i felt so whole and accomplished out in nature that i feel that it is definitely a neccesity to stop for a second and look around you at the world."For sometimes we just have to stop and smell the roses."
