Suhnn.
In the earliest daylight,
I wait for a distant shore to come into view.
Watching the line where my home ends,
And where the world begins anew.
Beyond the waters,
Reflecting back upon stars,
A great light moves across the sky.
A great fight for us to stay alive,
Illuminating who we really are.
I see the dark and light encircle,
I see the shadows pull the light away.
Taken to the corners of the empty ocean,
Forced to live moments before dismay.
In the deepest twilight,
I feel a closer shore come in the light of a new day.
Singing for a change of pace,
And waiting for the time when I see you.
Standing between the sand and sea.
Covered in salt,
Cutting through the breeze.
A great light moves across the sky,
A great time for us to believe.
I see the light and dark encircle,
I see the morning break away.
Here you are suhnn.
Here you are full circle.
Bringing us yet another beautiful day.
