He Met Me There
September 7th 2007

He met me there When I was still blind
I was out of my mind He did not condemn
He came to mend He met me there

As I drew from the well That left me thirsty again
He met me there
When the crowd left me and said He doesn't have time for you
He met me there
When the wall of pride Fell at throne of His grace
He met me there
When the crowd lifted the stones To hide from sins of their own
He met me there

He met me there
When I was still blind
I was out of my mind
He did not condemn
He came to mend
He met me there

He is my well of hope to glory again
He knows my touch as I press for His hem
Grace and Mercy flows from the depths of His Love
Crushing pride that seeks to destroy All that He set for my life to enjoy
He is the rock that delivers my soul He is the One that makes me whole

He meets me there When I am blind and out of my mind
Not to condemn but to mend Putting guilt and shame in its place
As His gaze penetrates my face

He met me there
When I was still blind
I was out of my mind
He did not condemn
He came to mend
He met me there
