Sudden Truths
You don't know what crying is
It's when the tears, they start to burn
You won't know what dying is
Until you find its too late to learn
That breathing, faking, happy endings
Losing, falling, false pretendings
Holding, something, lost and gone
Will never help you carry on
The stabs, the rips, the constant drips
Of bloodless courage left within
The senseless time and muffled cry
Is life begging to begin
You hold the rope, I hold the key
I throw myself, but you catch me
We've reached the turn, too late to learn
That it doesn't end, eternity
