Moments that changed my view of the world happen to me everyday. All through my life I have beheld something truly magical because......I wake from sleep to see the sun rising and a brand new day to experience new wonders.
Personally for me, the birth of my 4 precious children and recently the birth of my equally precious 2 grandchildren helped me to realize a wonderful dream because I feared that my life would end before I experienced the beauty of watching my children grow. This fear is something that I cannot explain however I now have a very different outlook because I am no longer fearful that God will strike me down for thoughts that don't agree with the church!
There are many historical worldwide events that impressed emotions of sadness or elation on me but they are far removed from my everyday life because I didn't experience them myself. Sure they affected my emotion but only for a short time. And I can say that I have shed a tear or two for those people less fortunate than me but I say a silent prayer for them and hope they can rebuild their world of happiness and perhaps take with them a little knowledge that their world will always be what they create. My own personal experiences are mine and cause me to view the world through my own 'glasses'. Just as our worlds are different yet we share the same world so our views will obviously be different.
I can only live in the here and now and experience my own moments but in my world, they are fabulous moments because I make them. I have down moments too and at one stage, in my younger years, I felt the whole world was against me until I realized, my world can be exactly the way I want it to be. It's up to me to create paradise in my world. God gave me the gift of thought and how to create my own reality and so I say thank you by creating my own wonderful world.
I am thoughtful of others and watch world events take place and the horrible things that we as humans are capable of doing to each other and I learn from this. I am extremely fortunate to live in a part of the world where I have the choice to do this and I am aware that others do not have that freedom. If I can make the world a little better for those people I love and the many people that walk into my life one way or another, then I am creating moments for those people too to make for themselves moments that will change their view of the world, even it is their own world!
One of those moments I must add include finding Helium.com because I have been able to express my opinion in a creative way and at the same time, hopefully inspire others to enjoy life to the fullest in the here and now.
Remember to smell the flowers, watch the butterflies, listen to the sounds of nature, touch someone's heart and taste life!
