A chanced hello like many others
A stop and then restart
So little expectation

Weeks passed by before we met
Then came our destined time
Instinctively I reached for you

Within your eyes, your smile, your touch
I saw my soul exposed
And blooming like a precious rose
My heart that once was closed

You didn't force those petals out
Before their destined time

Knew the rhythm to my rhyme

Some songs are never sung you know
The rhythm never found
The words are left unshared in life
Their echo quite profound

No echo left within my heart
