Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Do come right in, don't be shy. This is our place, and I'll need your help decorating.

It's not the Dew Drop officially 'til YOU are a part of it. Join us here, or start a new post, as you like.

What're you drinking? Hungry? Do have a seat.

~Jim

Hi Jim, hi everyone, am I the first one here?

Is Milo, Mr. Whiskers, Anastasia and Dewey still here?

I brought a little bamboo plant (3 sticks) as a house warming gift.

You are the very first, Conny!

So glad you made it here. What're you drinking today? I'm slurping coffee from Dunkin Donuts, not my favorite but it'll do in a pinch.

(Unloads the cat carriers and watches as Mr. Whiskers, Anastasia and Dewey check out their new home.  Sets up litter box and food dishes in utility room.)

Don't worry, Conny, Molly is bringing Milo.  Ooooo, love that pretty plant.

I brought some new glassware as my grand opening gift.  (I'm going to need some help getting the boxes out of the car though.)  Don't worry guys, nothing girlie! Just a heavier quality glass engraved with DDI including the wine and martini glasses, and some flashy multi-colored margarita glasses imported from Mexico.

Hey, is the new Dew cool, or what?  Amazing how it looks so much like the other location.  The kitties have already curled up in front of the fireplace and made themselves right at home.

(Turns on the coffee pot, brews some green tea, and see's that the grill is hot for lunch.)

Yes, looks like the Dew is ready to receive old friends and, hopefully, some new friends too.

Diane  :-)

I'll give you a hand with those boxes Diane.  I may not look like it, but I do have muscles.

How nice of you to bring the kitties and that Molly will bring Milo.

I went and fetched the Christmas tree.

Can you see him?

This board doesn't have a preview button, so I just have to take a crack at it.

(I hope I can edit my post if things go wrong)

Oh no, it didn't work.

I saw the 'insert image' button and I thought I'd try something, but it went wrong and I can't edit my post.

Jim, can you please help me out here !!!

Hi everyone.  Look at this place!  This is fantastic.  Milo found his kitty buddies and snuggled into the middle of the group.  I'm so glad they get along...

Look at that fireplace!  I love field-stone...  And an old wood-stove over in the far corner to help keep us warm if we don't have power...  The plants, I love them.  They add so much.

This is all coming together so nicely.  Great glassware, Diane!  Thanks for bringing the kitties over.  Did you get all the boxes out of your car yet?  Let me go bring in some more wood...

I need to sit down by the fire and put my feet up for a few minutes.  Oh, comfy chairs by the fireplace...  with warm throws to bundle up in...

contented sigh while putting mug of hot chocolate done on coaster...

We're home.

Nice place you have here, Jim! Is this the more INFORMAL DDI? I'm wondering how the name came about. Seems to me that there was a bar on the old Walton's television show of the 1970's that had a DDI.

You asked what we're drinking? How about a plain old bottle of Propel water? Not very interesting, huh?

Well Jim, looks like you've branched out into a bigger DDi!  I must say, it needs sprucing up a bit so here's a few Salvador Dali prints for the walls, a couple of pitcher plants that can grow up the wall, and a crate of ice cold Guinness for anybody who fancies one!

I've also brought a box of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts if anybody wants to help themselves!

See you all later!

Tim
