Anything that disrupts the natural function of the body is not healthy. Yes, it is such a pain to have a menstrual cycle every 25-35 days, but it is the body's way of flushing out the lining that has been building up over this period of time. No one says you CAN'T have sex during this time, but really, what woman wants too, but if a young girl can't go without sex for a few days then she might have some other underlying sexual promiscuity problems. I truly believe these kinds of pills cause fertility problems. I used birth control for 5 years and when I quit, the Dr. said that I do not ovulate. It took my husband and I 5 years to have our first child, due to my lack of ovulation. Contraceptive pills are not healthy for the body, let nature just run its course. Your man isn't going anywhere and he will still be there when your 3-5 day menstruation cycle is done.
