Celebrities aren't really that out of control. Most are doing stuff that most of us do anyway; the fact that they are in the position of being a celebrity and the closeness and obsession that we have with celebrity, which has reached new heights, is a big part of why we feel that they are out of control in the first place. What about the numerous individuals that have money that do stupid things that no one is talking about. Many of them walk away from these unfortunate events and still go on to maintain their lifestyle and live the life that they want to have. We are looking at every little single idiotic thing that a celebrity does and loosing sleep over it, if anything, we are the one's whose unhealthy relationship with celebrity who are going to suffer the most harm!
I haven't seen anything that exciting or that out of the way that these celebrities do that even shows that they are out of control to begin with. There isn't much many of them can do; you hear about drug use, alcohol abuse, wild sexual escapades. The type of stuff a lot of people without money are already doing. When you're broke, and no one knows you, this type of stuff can complicate your life really quickly and shut down your social life like no one's business. But when you have the resources that these celebrities have you never really have to suffer the full blunt of the consequences. So you do 20 plus days in the slammer and you have your liscense taken away from you. Paris Hilton is not riding the bus and doesn't really have to go anywhere anyway! She says she suffers from anxiety and claustrophobia; no one ever would have known that and it doesn't seem to impair her life that much.
Britney Spears cuts off her hair, she's still Britney Spears! Bald or not most guys would still want to date her; it isn't as if she's suffering from radiation treatments or anything, and that wouldn't get in the way for some of us either. All that these actions do is make celebrities even more interesting and show that they are more human. They aren't these artificial people that haven't done anything wrong that absolutely no one can relate to; they're just real people in a different set of circumstances. You cannot expect anyone the age of Lindsay Lohan's age to act responsibly anyway, not to mention the fact that Lindsay Lohan doesn't seem to have much of a work ethic. That will prove fatal to her career, and troublesome if she spends up the money that she does have. But I just can't see that happening anytime soon.
As long as we're still talking about celebrities and obsessing over them they have some type of future. Once people forget about celebrities their career is pretty much over, at least for the interim. It's hard to mess up being a celebrity, as far as your own personal life, if you can live with yourself and can honestly say that you do not have any regrets with the stupid stuff you've done I guess that's something we'll have to come to accept.

What a tragedy! It is sad to watch these young celebrities go down so fast. Fortune, Fame then "poof" it is all over. Sad thing is, They don't even seem to care!
I know when you are young you get all caught up in the lime light. Everyone adores you, just wants to be near you, breathing your air. Sometimes, you might even feel immortal, but the truth is,you aren't!
I think Lindsay Lohan has got some very serious mental issues.
To one day like men, men, men then all of a sudden to be "in love" with a woman, only to be consumed with jealousy of every person that comes into contact with her.
My understanding is, Lindsay calls for her "Mommy" when she gets upset. Thing is, it isn't like on a phone "in private, It is like, loud for all to hear and frantically try calling her mother. Doesn't this sound like a person that is either totally "spoiled" or in dire need of a shrink?
Her mother seems to love the "spotlife" even more than her daughter does! I just wonder did she encourage all the partying that Lindsay does. I have to assume that she does because I do recall reading an interview Lindsay did awhile back which stated that her mom is her best friend that loves to go partying with! There needs to be role model for Lindsay and it sure isn't her mother.
Then her father serves four years in prison for a variety of different crimes. He also, allegedly, has a "secret daughter" that was conceived while he was temporarily separated from his wife, Lindsays mom. So this parent sure couldn't be a great role model either.
I wonder sometimes if Lindsay Lohan was the main breadwinner for her entire family!
But, should the parents take the blame for Lindsay, now? Isn't she now an adult? But is she really?
Lindsay Lohan was born on July 2, 1986. At a very tender age, Lindsay Lohan started her career in show business for magazine advertisement and television commercials. At age 10, she began her acting career.
I sometimes wonder if Lindsay Lohan feels she has already "done it all!" ...."lived a full life". Feeling as though there is nothing left for her to do.
Is this a type of "legacy" that she may want to leave? This is what is scary to me. To many of these Celebritiies are ikons to young teens everywhere and they know this.
Are they trying to lead all of their "followers" astray? Or, perhaps they are so wrapped up in themselves they just don't care, feeling immortal, if you will.
Possibly it is drugs that is the only thing they care about now. If this is true, they should look at stars like Anna Nicole, River Phoenix, Marilyn Monroe and these are just a few that have died by drug overdoses. The reason that I named these three are because they are so glamorized by young teens but there are many more that maybe didn't "die" but drugs did ruin their lives and their career.
Sometimes I wonder if all this money, fame and glory is a curse, instead of a blessing. Does all the fame lead to depression then death? Is this what society enjoys.... Watching the bazar behavior of these sad celebrities until they actually expire?
Celebrities seem to crave all the attention they can get. When their 15 minutes of fame is up, do they "loose it", become so desperate to become the center of attention again they will do anything?
