I hope not. This striving to be normal is over-rated, and perpetrates many of society's abnormalities. Example...Young women having weight and self-image issues, young men playing that ear-splitting loud music to get attention and not fit in, oh right that works! Most view drugs as an accessory, their dad's are dead-beats, etc. With the nuclear family practically being non-existent, I say hooray! for not being "normal", especially in Los Angeles. I vote for Mayberry myself.
Any judging of the Beckhams is pure speculation and fantasy, so the multitudes of conjectures that we must endure, need to be tempered with reality.
I highly value the original, the unique, the sensitive, the changing, the growing, the altruistic, the intelligent, the slightly shy,...none of which is normal. God's own son was gifted, not normal, certainly did not blend in, so I don't understand this need to homogenize oneself. I just don't get it.

I will be the first to admit that I don't agree with some of the decisions that the Beckhams have made of late. Especially those surrounding David's career. But where the boys are concerned I have an entirely different opinion.
Ever since the couple married almost decade ago, they have endured a continuous media frenzy. With their extravagant lifestyle and striking good looks they were every journalist's dream.
The media interest was inevitably spurred on by the birth of their first son Brooklyn in March 1999. The couple were bombarded with paparazzi desperate for a glimpse of the youngster. Popularity increased when another son Romeo arrived in 2003 and again following the arrival of their third son Cruz two years later.
All three boys have been steeped in media attention since their birth. That being said, Victoria and David have done an excellent job in shading them from prying eyes wherever possible. Although aware of their existence the media have never been able to impose on their privacy. As parents David and Victoria have always strived to bring up their children in a safe and secure environment. Ensuring a sense of normality despite all the hype that surrounds them.
So, to question whether they will be able to lead a normal life in America seems slightly unfair to me. The Beckham family have become accustomed to a certain way of life over the years. Whether or not we agree with it, that way is life is now considered "normal" to the boys.
The truth is, Regardless of your feelings towards David or Victoria individually it has to be said that they are phenomenal parents.
I have no doubt in my mind that Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz will continue to live happy and content lives, with just as much stability in America as they have ever had.
